78 Losing Jobs With Omnicare Closing

Layoffs begin in February at Waukesha business.

Seventy-eight employees will lose jobs when Omnicare, 407 Pilot Court, shuts down its Waukesha facility, according to a notice from the Department of Workforce Development.

Layoffs are expected to begin Feb. 22 and last through March 22. The closing is prompted by the Cincinatti company's consolidation of the Waukesha and Milwaukee facilities.

The layoffs include 17 salaried positions and 61 hourly employees, according to the notice filed with the Department of Workforce Development.
