The Human Face of the Future: Imagining a Just Society

The Plowshare Center of Waukesha is hosting a forum on February 4th
titled “The Human
Face of the Future:  Imagining a Just Society”
. The event
will be held at Carroll University in the Campus Center Ballroom (corner of
East and College).  Forum speakers will include Justice Janine Geske
(ret.) Distinguished Professor of Law at the Marquette University Law School on
restorative justice; Betty
Groenewold,
President of SOPHIA (Stewards of Prophetic,
Hopeful, Intentional Action) on housing rights; John Whitcomb, M.D., Board Certified
in Holistic and Integrative Medicine on health care reform. The event is free
and open to the public. There is a film screening as part of the Forum on
Friday evening, 7 pm, same location: “Crossing the Line:  Defending
Wisconsin’s Environmental Commons”. Suggested donation $5.The event is
