New Residence Hall Opening This Fall at Carroll University

Students will move onto the Carroll University campus this week.

Nearly 130 students can be housed at Prairie Hall, the newest Carroll University residence hall at the corner of College and North Grand avenues, when it opens this week.

The property is owned by Berg Management and is leased to the university for student housing. Prairie Hall is the third residence hall to be built in the past few years as Carroll University has been increasing its enrollment numbers.

Here is more information from the university:

"This three-story co-ed suite-style facility will house 128 students when it opens in the fall of 2013. Students will choose two-, three-, four-, or five-bedroom units featuring private bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, a living area and kitchen. Each floor will feature a kitchen, lounge, study and laundry room. Like Pioneer and Frontier Halls, Prairie Hall will offer air conditioning, PiONEer Card access and limited underground parking. The ground floor will also feature additional retail outlets."

Carroll University freshmen move on campus Friday. Returning students will move into the residence halls on Sunday.
