SummerStage Party in the Park, SummerStage of Delafield
The event will take place inside Lapham Peak State Park on the evening of Sept. 22 at the SummerStage Amphitheater in Delafield. This is a newly established fundraiser for SummerStage. There will be lots of food choices, beverages, and a raffle. This will be for everyone: patrons, volunteers, etc. Volunteers will be able to interact with all kinds of different people, have a good time, and help with coordination of the event. All volunteers must be people-friendly and must learn to drive a golf cart shuttle (if applicable).

Museum Assistants for Harvest Festival, Old World Wisconsin
Old World Wisconsin in Eagle needs volunteers to assist with setup and visitor activities for upcoming special events during each weekend of September and October. Their Harvest Weekend activities include: “Labor and Libations”, “Produce and Preserves”, “Cookies and Kuchen”, “In a Pickle” and many more. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and are required to pass a basic background check.

Exercise Group Leader, Lutheran Social Services
Help keep the elderly that attend the Lutheran Social Services adult day center active! Volunteers are needed to lead an exercise class focusing on upper and lower body strength. You must develop your own plan of low impact exercises and recreational games such as ring toss or bean bag toss. Volunteers are needed at the Waukesha location on weekdays between the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for 45-60 minutes. Volunteers must be a minimum of 12 years old and willing to commit 45-60 minutes per session.

Donation Assistants needed for Goodwill Sale at Boston Store
Help make the Goodwill Sale at the Boston Stores a success this year. We need volunteers to accept donations from customers who bring in their gently used clothing and household linens. We need two volunteers for each three- to four-hour shift. The sale is scheduled for Sept. 12–29 and hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays. Sign up early and choose your shift. The Boston Stores in Grand Avenue, Bayshore, Mayfair, Southridge, Brookfield and Racine are participating in the sale. Volunteers must be 13 years and older. The job requires some physical activity such as lifting bags and reaching/bending to place the donations in the receptacles.
