2012 NAMIWalk in Waukesha Volunteers Needed
Each year, The National Alliance on Mental Illness hosts NAMIWalks all across the nation. This year will be NAMI Waukesha's ninth annual walk. We will be hosting this walk at the picnic pavilion on the corner of Moreland Boulevard and Whiterock Avenue immediately west of the train tracks on Oct. 6. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the walk begins at 11 a.m. This is the largest fundraiser we host each year. Our goal for 2012 is $60,000. We cannot do this on our own and need many volunteers to make this happen. We need volunteers for help in the kitchen, walk route volunteers for directions and water, set-up and tear-down, registration and walker coordination. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are able to take on delegated tasks. This day is very busy for volunteers who play a very important role on making this event a great success.
