ViewFinder: Waukesha Book Group Scores Chat With Author

New York Times bestselling author talks with group through phone at Martha Merrell's Bookstore

The Oasis Readers Book Group that meets at Martha Merrell's and Cuddles was named winner of the National Public Radio author meet-up contest on Friday, according to a news release.

The group spoke with Abraham Vergheses, who wrote a New York Times bestseller, Cutting for Stone, through a telephone call at the bookstore. The group was selected for the chat out of 90 communities across the world.

The Steaming Cup provided refreshments, including Ethiopian food. Cutting for Stone is the story of twin orphans growing up in Ethiopia
