Les Paul Exhibit Receives Tourism Grant

The Les Paul Experience, an exhibit the Waukesha County Museum will open on June 9, scored a grant from the Department of Tourism, according to a story by the Milwaukee Business Journal.
The $28,250 grant will go towards marketing the exhibit.
The museum announced in 2010 that it hoped to bring a Les Paul exhibit to Waukesha. Paul, a musician and inventor of the solid-body electric guitar, is a Waukesha native who died in August 2009 at age 94. He is buried in Waukesha at Prairie Home Cemetery.
