Where/When: Mitchell Park Conservatory Horticultural Center, 524 S. Layton Blvd, Milwaukee, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. tonight (March 10)

Why Go: This musical event is being held at what is known locally as the “Domes.” Get ready for St. Patrick’s Day with a little Irish music by Leahys Luck.

Where/When: Waukesha County Expo, 7 p.m. Friday

Why Go: It might not be George, John, Ringo and Paul, but their legacy will be honored through a concert from the Britins. So grab a friend, grab a spouse, girlfriend or boyfriend, and say (or sing) All you need is love.

Where/When: Carroll University’s Shattuck Music Center, 8 p.m. Saturday

Why Go: "Music and Poetry of Homage and Remembrance will include music by Richard Wagner, Mark Camphouse, Kathryn Salfelder and Percy Grainger,” a Carroll news release states. “The Wind Symphony is conducted by Lawrence Dale Harper, professor of music, and performs the finest of traditional and contemporary wind literature. The Jazz Ensemble, directed by Rick Kirby, performs the highest caliber repertoire from throughout the jazz idiom. “

Pricing: adults, $8; students and seniors age 60+, $5

4. Carroll Players Present A Brand New Brain: The Music of William Finn

Where/When: Carroll University’s Otteson Theatre, 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday

Why Go: Based on a true story, A Brand New Brain: The Music of William Finn is a contemporary musical, telling the story of Gordon Schwinn, a talented young songwriter who learns he has a serious medical condition.  He fears dying with his best work inside of him and proceeds to write the best songs of his career from his hospital bed, while in a coma. 

Pricing:  adults $10 adults; seniors age 60+ and Carroll parents and alumni, $5; students with valid ID, free.

Where/When: Rooters inside AMF Waukesha Lanes, 901 Northview Road, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday

Why Go: Oil Can Harry is performing at the nightclub that is inside AMF Waukesha Lanes.
