From Austin to Waukesha: Music-Themed Trailer Makes Its Way to GuitarTown
Representatives from Austin, Texas, toured Les Paul's hometown on Wednesday.
Did you see the colorful trailer in downtown Waukesha on Tuesday?
The Austin (TX) Convention and Visitors Bureau is touring this summer with its "Airstream" trailer. The trailer stopped in Waukesha, the hometown of Les Paul, this week to check out the Waukesha GuitarTown displays, including the murals that were painted last weekend.
"The Austin Airstream is a 30-foot vintage, refurbished 1970s trailer designed by local artisans, complete with on onboard music studio and area inside ideal for conducting interviews, and private concerts," states a news release." Additionally, it acts as a mobile visitor’s center to help promote the city of Austin around the country."
Representatives from Austin were giving away swag and signing people up for contests Tuesday. Unfortunately, no one was around when Patch came to check out the trailer, which was parked at ACE Hardware, for us to learn more about the trailer.
