Nature & Impressionistic Photography Workshop/Trip (UW-Waukesha Continuing Education)

Nature & Impressionistic Photography Workshop

October 4-18, 2011
6:30PM - 9:00PM

Are your photos looking stagnant and stilted? If you enjoy photographing outdoors, but find your images look flat, like postcards, join photographer Bill Meyer while exploring creative camera techniques.  This workshop includes two classroom settings and field trip. Meyer will lead a classroom discussion of using various camera styles to make visually unique images, including macro photography, time exposures, and camera movement.  Using the strategies learned from class students will take a field trip to local parklands that offer opportunities to practice the new ways of seeing and shooting, emphasizing and exploring shape, shadow, color and texture.  The last class will focus on reviewing photographs taken with this newly acquired artistic vision.

Tue, Oct 4, 6:30pm-9:00pm, Class at UW-Waukesha
Sat, Oct 8, 9:00am-2:00pm (Field Trip)
Tue, Oct 18, 6:30pm-9pm, Class at UW-Waukesha
