It’s a Friday night in Saigon in April 1975, in the midst of the Vietnam War. At Dreamland, an after-hours club popular with American G.I.s, everyone dreams of a better future in America. Kim, a 17-year-old Vietnamese orphan, pins her hopes on her lover Chris, an American Marine. He and his best friend John are at the club for an evening of fun as a break from the danger of the approaching Viet Cong.

While all the girls at the club vie for the American men, Chris is struck by Kim’s innocence. They profess their love for one another – but are ultimately separated by the fall of Saigon to the Viet Cong. Their lives unfold and their paths cross again, as each one tries to capture the passion and hope of their own American Dreams.

Winner of eleven Tony awards, Miss Saigon is a tragic story of love and innocence lost, based on Puccini’s opera Madame Butterfly. The production is fueled by beautiful songs, including "The Movie In My Mind," "Sun And Moon," "I Still Believe," and "I’d Give My Life For You." As of December 2010, it is the tenth-longest running musical in Broadway history. (For mature audiences.)
