UW-Waukesha’s Continuing Education and Theatre Departments Collaborate with Cabaret Performance

  WAUKESHA – The University of Wisconsin-Waukesha’s Continuing Education and Theatre departments present A London Capperet featuring Ryan Cappleman (Franklin), accompanist Adam Baus (Milwaukee), and special guest performers Kira Renkas (Waukesha), Candace Decker (Waukesha) and student filmmaker Connor O’Hara (Waukesha) on Friday, March 16 at 7:30pm. in the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in the Fine Arts Center at UW-Waukesha, 1500 North University Drive.  Tickets and parking are free to this event. 

Cabaret singer Ryan Cappleman will share stories, song and dance of his UW-Waukesha Continuing Education London Theatre Tour (January 2012) study abroad adventures, in his one-man show.

Acompanied by Adam Baus, Mr. Cappleman will perform a variety of songs that tell of his journey across the pond including There’s No Place Like London and A Foggy Day mixed in with contemporary favorites such as Love on Top and The Time of My Life.

Ryan Cappleman has a BFA in Musical Theater from UW-Milwaukee. He works as a performer, a choreographer, a music director, a pianist, and a teacher. His professional credits include The Tavern Keeper's Daughter with Skylight Music Theater and Milwaukee Chamber Theater, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Miss Nelson is Missing with First Stage Children's Theater, The Apple Tree with In Tandem Theater, and the upcoming Assassins with Windfall Theater. Cappleman has taught Musical Theater at First Stage, works with many high schools in the area and has appeared in numerous local productions including UW-Waukesha’s Little Shop of Horrors.
