Creedence Clearwater Revisited to Rock Waukesha County Fair

Heard it through the grapeview, this traveling band is coming to town.

The Waukesha County Fair Association is proud to announce Creedence Clearwater Revisited as the Miller Lite Main Stage act at 8 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2011.

Creedence Clearwater Revisited was formed in 1995 by Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” Clifford of Creedence Clearwater Revival in order to perform classic hits from its Creedence Clearwater Revival days. The band has toured in North America, South America, New Zealand, Europe and Asia.

General admission to the Miller Lite Main Stage shows is FREE with a daily admission ticket. Fairgoers will again have the opportunity to purchase VIP seating tickets to the Main Stage shows.

New this year is that fans will have the opportunity to purchase Elite VIP Seating which includes an adult admission into the fair, a numbered seat for the concert in the first two rows of VIP, two beverage tickets and preferred parking. Tickets go on sale on the Waukesha County Fair website and Facebook Fan page on April 1 at 9 am. Visit WaukeshaCountyFair.com for details.

 The 169th Waukesha County Fair, sponsored by Aurora Health Care, will run Wednesday, July 20, through Sunday, July 24, on the Waukesha Expo Grounds.
