Bites Nearby: Key Westconsin Holds Grand Opening Celebration

New restaurant promoted as destination dining and drinks on the Fox River.

Gary and Rita Krivos celebrated Friday afternoon the grand opening of their restaurant Key Westconsin, 331 Riverfront Plaza.

The new restaurant is located across from the Fox River riverwalk and features seafood, steak, chicken and salad.

The restaurant includes a bar area with a straw roof, which fits in with the seaside-themed restaurant. The restaurant has a mural of palm trees, ocean, beach and lighthouses. The mural was painted by hand by owner Gary Krivos.

Gary Krivos said the mural took weeks to complete.

Key Westconsin is owner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
