Wintry Mix Brings Plows, Good Samaritans

Three Waukesha children used Sunday afternoon to clear driveways and sidewalks. The winter weather advisory continues until noon Monday.

By mid-afternoon, Kassy Bayless admitted she was cold and ready to call it quits.

The 10-year-old was joining 12-year-old Lorenzo Henke and 13-year-old Brandon Byge clearing driveways and sidewalks on Madison Street near the downtown area.

The trio wasn't in it for the money or the recognition. They just wanted to spread some cheer to the area neighbors and had been clearing snow for about three hours.
