Waukesha County Fair Releases Attendance Figures

More than 100,000 people attended the 169th annual fair last week.

The Waukesha County Fair, which concluded Sunday with a concert by The Beach Boys, had 121,441 visitors during the five-day fair, according to a news release from the county fair.

Daytime attendance was low because of the extreme heat, according to the release, but evening numbers were higher. Thursday’s attendance was the highest Thursday attendance in 16 years, according to the release.

“We are thrilled with this year’s attendance numbers,” said Shari Black, executive director, in the release. “Our Board of Directors and the many volunteers worked so hard throughout the year to develop an event that provides a great mix of family entertainment at an affordable price.”
