ViewFinder: A Stand to End Violence Against Women

Demonstration in Waukesha on Fox River bridge marks 100th anniversary of International Women's Day.

Dozens of people gathered on the North Barstow Street bridge over the Fox River near Frame Park with signs to make the statement that violence against women needs to end.

Members of The Women's Center were on the bridge to raise awareness as Tuesday is the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day. Groups throughout the country stood on bridges to bring awareness to problems of violence against women in their communities and throughout the world.
