Toga-Wearing Fraternity Members Holding 5K Run/Walk

Sunday's event is benefiting The Women's Center in Waukesha.

Didn’t get enough running in last weekend during the Trailbreaker Marathon? Delta Rho Upsilon at Carroll University is holding a 5K run/walk and a 10K bike race to benefit to The Women’s Center.

The catch? Those wearing a toga will be entered into a prize raffle.

The run/walk will begin and end at The Women’s Center at 10 a.m. but race registration starts at 9:15 a.m. Registration is also available on the fraternity’s website.

Entertainment for the race will be The House and McInnis, which will perform at Carroll University’s Stackner Ballroom at 6 p.m. Sunday.  Toga bingo will be held at the school as well at 9:30 p.m. with Carroll students eligible to win prizes.

The Women’s Center is a community resource for abused and battered women who seek counseling and shelter.
