Summer Hot Spots: Waukesha County Fair

Beach Boys and Collective Soul among line up at county fairgrounds.

No one sings summer better than the Beach Boys and Waukesha gets to see the oldies band live during the Waukesha County Fair, which runs from July 20 to July 24.

The fair will be a week jammed packed with activity, so be sure to check out the fair’s website to see all that there is to offer. 

Here is the main stage line up:

  • Ted Nugent, 8 pm. Thursday, July 21
  • Creedence Clearwater Revisited, 8 p.m. Friday, July 22
  • Collective Soul, 8 p.m. Saturday, July 23
  • Beach Boys, 6 pm. Sunday, July 24

The fair runs from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday,  and 10 a.m. to  9 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $9 for adults and $3 for children between ages 6 and 12. Children under age 5 are free. Parking is $5.

The fair is also advertising specials each day:

  • Wednesday, $2 admission, $2 parking. All rides are one ticket ($1.25)
  • Thursday, admission free for those with military ID. $3 admission for seniors age 62 and older, $5 admission before 3 p.m. Rides are unlimited between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. for $20 and again between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. for $20.
  • Friday, $23 wristbands for unlimited rides from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Saturday, $20 wristbands for unlimited rides from noon to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, $5 admission before 1 p.m. $23 wristbands for unlimited rides from noon to 8 p.m.
