July 4 Activities Planned for Waukesha

Parade and fireworks will celebrate nation's Independence Day.

Waukesha will hold its Independence Day celebration on July 4 with a parade and fireworks.

The “Traveling the USA Parade” begins at 11 a.m. July 4 starts at Cutler Park and stretches through downtown Waukesha to conclude at Frame Park. Free ice cream will be available for children at the Schuetze Recreation Center.

A fireworks show will be held around 9:30 p.m. July 4 at the Waukesha County Expo. The expo will open at 7:15 p.m. for the fireworks.

“The show promises to be unique and of exceptional quality,” the city’s website states. “It will consist of some high aerials along with low-level effects. The show will be best viewed from the Waukesha County Fairgrounds.”
