HIV/AIDS Support Home in Waukesha Running Out of Money

A Wisconsin newspaper focusing on gay/lesbian issues reports the founders are considering closing the home opened in 1996.

Waukesha-based Richard’s Place, a home for people suffering from HIV/AIDS, is on the verge of closing due to financial constraints.

According to an article in the Wisconsin Gazette, the home is down to its last $13,000, and founder/operator Corrie Fulwiler often goes without a paycheck to help keep the place operating.

Richard’s Place provides a variety of services to HIV/AIDS sufferers, including education and case management support.
