Hillcrest Elementary School Aims for Stomach-Rubbing, Head-Patting Record

Racing sausages coming to the Waukesha school Saturday morning.

Can you pat your head and rub your stomach at the same time?

Hillcrest Elementary School is trying to prove they can and  wants to get in the record books for the number of people doing it, according to the school’s April newsletter.

The event begins at the school at 10 a.m. Saturday

“We will begin as soon as we have enough people counted,” the newsletter states.

The Klement’s Racing Sausages are scheduled for an appearance, as well as Mayor Jeff Scrima. Tae Kwon Do demonstrations and a food drive for the Food Pantry of Waukesha County.

Participants of any age are welcome to attend, according to the newsletter.

Davidson Road will be closed in front of Hillcrest, including at the intersection of Springdale Road from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, according to the city’s engineering department. Traffic can enter the parking lot from the east side of the school.
