Furry Friends: Scooby, Spooky and CanCan
These older pets are in need of a home and are waiting at Humane Animal Welfare Society in Waukesha.
Scooby is a special animal, who needs a special, well-prepared home when she becomes adopted. The 10-year-old Collie mix needs a family that doesn’t have small children – ages 12 and above are appropriate – because of her age-related sensitivity.
Scooby can share a home with other cats and dogs. She was adopted between eight and 10 years ago and arrived at the Humane Animal Welfare Society on July 13 after her owner passed away.
Spooky and CanCan are a bonded male pair that are available at H.A.W.S. For just $22, the pair has been looking for a home since April. They are 5 years old and are affectionate.

The two cats were surrendered by their owner who was unable to take care of the pets.
To start the adoption process with H.A.W.S., you need to fill out an application. The application is available online or at the shelter on Northview Road. Pre-requisites of adoption are: be at least 18 years old, provide verifiable identification, provide proof of home ownership or landlord's permission and consent of adults at residence.
