Furry Friends: Flo and Taser

Show cats at Waukesha animal shelter may be ribbon winners, but they also are looking to be winners with a family.

A pair of cats looking to be adopted may not have a family, but they have two giant ribbons from a June 2011 cat show. The 1-1/2-year-old cats placed in the Wisconsin-Illinois Cat Fancier show.

Taser and Flo were placed at the Humane Animal Welfare Society on March 24 after their owner couldn’t take care of them because of allergies. Flo especially likes to cuddle.

To start the adoption process with H.A.W.S., you need to fill out an application. The application is available online or at the shelter on Northview Road. Pre-requisites of adoption are: be at least 18 years old, provide verifiable identification, provide proof of home ownership or landlord's permission and consent of adults at residence.
