Assisted-Living Residents Still Get Dinner After Flu Disaster

ProHealth Care staff step in to make more than 100 meals.

When the food service staff at Merrill Hills Manor came down with the flu, food service department stepped in to save the day and empty stomachs.

Merrill Hills Manor is not affiliated with ProHealth Care but the medical company helped out those at the assisted living community.

Members of Waukesha Memorial Hospital’s food service department mobilized today to prepare meals for residents of Merrill Hills Manor, a Waukesha-area assisted living community, after their own food service staff came down with the flu. Chef Phil Haseker and members of the Food and Nutrition staff prepared 100 meals, and ProHealth Care Transportation services delivered the food - piping hot - in time for dinner!
