Mukwonago YMCA Hosts Family Mud Run

The Mukwonago YMCA is hosting a family mud run at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Mukwonago High School. The Mukwonago YMCA Family Mud Run will feature muddy obstacles and a foam pit complete with soap suds throughout the roughly two-mile course.

Families can enjoy time together while laughing and starting out their summer by staying physically active. The Mukwonago YMCA Family Mud Run, however, is not just a fun event for families. The event is a fundraiser for the Y’s Annual Campaign. Every year, the Y holds an event to raise money for its financial assistance program, and 100 percent of the proceeds from the mud run are given back to our community.

Anyone ages 5 and older can participate in the Mukwonago YMCA Family Mud Run. Children ages 5-7 must run with an adult. Race admission is $20 per person or $60 for a family of four (maximum of two adults). T-shirts will be provided at packet pick-up.

Membership and program fees at the YMCA do not cover all the costs to support its vital community programs. To ensure that no one is denied a chance to participate because of inability to pay, the Y truly needs the help of others.
