IAAP Waukesha Chapter

Local Woman is Nominated for International President-Elect of IAAP

 

Wendy S. Melby, CAP-OM, has been nominated by the Waukesha Chapter, to the office of International President-Elect of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) for the year 2014-2015.  Melby is a member of the Waukesha Chapter of IAAP.

Wendy joined the Waukesha Chapter, Wisconsin Division, of IAAP in August 1998 and became involved in various leadership roles shortly thereafter. Currently, Wendy is running for the position of International President-Elect where the elections will be held in Milwaukee this July.

Her qualifications are holding the following positions on the International level: District Director (2009-10 and 2010-11), Treasurer (2011-12), Vice Chair of The Foundation (2012-13), and Vice President (2012-13). Prior to reaching the International level, Wendy held various leadership roles on the division level include Division President in 2007-08 as well as on the chapter level.

 

In addition to the positions held, Wendy also received the honor or being Distinguished Division President (New Chapter Builder) in 2007-08, Distinguished Chapter President in 2002-03 and
Distinguished Chapter President in 2001-2002.

 

Currently, Wendy is employed with Paragon Development Systems in Brookfield as Executive Program Assistant reporting to the President/CEO, Jonathan Ravdin, M.D.
