Hospitality Hero Winner Says “Cheese!”

As a part of the 2013 National Tourism Week celebrations, the Waukesha Pewaukee Convention and Visitor Bureau (WPCVB) kicked off a monthly hospitality staff recognition program, Hospitality Hero! Each month a different segment of the hospitality industry is recognized. This month the WPCVB asked partner businesses at Waukesha Pewaukee retailers to nominate retail sales clerks that exemplify outstanding customer service and leadership qualities that make them a Hospitality Hero for their company.

Lorraine Gerbig, retail sales clerk at Old Tavern Food Products in Waukesha is this month’s Hospitality Hero! Owner, Gail Strong, nominated Lorraine for her ongoing helpfulness to customers selecting the perfect gift while selecting cheeses for themselves. When not waiting on customers she helps wherever necessary in processing orders, bookkeeping and will lend a hand when any other help is needed. The WPCVB is please to recognize Lorraine Gerbig for greeting customers with a smile for 47 years!
