Do you like antiques? Fascinated with Amish collectibles? UW-Waukesha Continuing Education is back on the road again! Pack your bags, and don’t forget your camera! You’ll want to plan on spending a couple of days with Certified Antiques Appraiser Barbara Eash, touring the beautiful Amish Country-side, decorated with a colorful patchwork of quilted gardens and an abundance of antiques! Whether you’re a hobbyist or bona fide antiques collector, a trip through Amish country in Shipshewana, Indiana should make your wish list. You are bound to find an antique treasure waiting for you at Trading Place Antique Mall. The Quilt Gardens... along Heritage Trail joins quilting, gardening and art into a one-of-a-kind event. A colorful patchwork of quilt inspired gardens and quilt-themed murals linked by the roads that form the Heritage Trail. Take a trip down memory lane at Yoder Department Store, a treasure chest waiting to be discovered. We’ll experience family-style cooking, the comfort of the Blue Gate Inn, and a dinner show.
