Becca Richter to Perform at the Waukesha County Fair

Local award-winning singer/songwriter, Becca Richter, is slated to perform this Friday at the Waukesha County Fair.  The 2012 WAMI Rising Star nominee will be performing a mix of original music and covers with drummer, Lukas Hale, on the Coors Light Stage from 3-6pm.  Recent performances include headlining at Freeman Friday Night Live, Door County’s Steel Bridge Songfest and the Southminster Concert Series.  Last summer, Richter performed for Lichterfest in Gmunden, Austria as the 2012 TRS Video of the Year Winner.  Richter states, “I am excited to perform at the Waukesha County Fair.  It’s an honor to represent my hometown (Waukesha) and I think it’s going to be a lot of fun because my show has a little something for everyone.”  Richter plans to perform a mix of pop, country and jazz, including covers by The Band Perry, John Mayer, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, Adele and Maroon 5.  Richter’s original music has won several awards and features performances on both piano and guitar.  Richter has appeared several times on TMJ4’s Morning Blend television show, auditioned privately for the producers of NBC’s The Voice, and opened for Craig Morgan as a finalist in the Top Singer competition at the Waukesha County Fair last year.  Richter released her first solo-album “Little Things” in 2011 after debuting her original music in Nashville.  Richter’s new music video “You’re the One, Wedding Song” was filmed in downtown Waukesha and debuted on TMJ4’s The Morning Blend.  Her music is available on I-tunes and Amazon.com.  For more information, visit BeccaRichter.com.
