First Federal Bank Hosting FREE Shred Day

First Federal Bank, 1617 E. Racine branch, is hosting a FREE Shred Day from 9-11, May 18.

First Federal Bank is inviting all members of the community to participate in their free Community Shred Day on Saturday, May 18th. Shredding services will be available from 9 am until 11 am at the Eastside Office located at 1617 E. Racine Avenue (corner of Hwy 164 and Racine Avenue).

“We are inviting everyone from the community to come out and shred their old documents.  You do not have to be a customer of the bank participate.” says Alison Wiese of First Federal Bank.  “Identity theft is a very real concern these days, so we wanted to offer our neighborhood families and businesses a safe and secure way to destroy their personal information.”

Individuals are invited to drop off up to 3 boxes of old documents to be shredded on site in the bank’s parking lot.  Staples and hanging folders are permissible; however three ring binders will need to be disposed of separately.
