Letter to the voters of District 12

Candidate for Alderman in District 12, Aaron Perry, writes letter to the voters of District 12.

My name is Aaron Perry and I am running for the open District 12 Aldermanic seat. I am running for Alderman because this area is special and so are the people in it. I want to ensure it stays that way as my two young sons, Landon and Jackson, grow up here. The best decision I ever made was marrying my wife, Angela, and choosing to start our family in Waukesha on Valley Hill Drive.

I am the son of a Lutheran pastor. My Mother is a therapist. I grew up learning how to positively engage with people and build relationships. Much of it comes down to listening. When I decided to run for the open Aldermanic seat, I made a commitment to introduce myself to as many voters as possible and, most importantly, to listen to the concerns of my neighbors.

I have used every tool at my disposal, social media, mail, email, a blog and door-to-door campaigning, to make myself available to voters and share my passion for this city. Throughout the campaign I have taken the opportunity to go on a police ride along as well as sit down and have one-on-one conversations with city leaders including Alderman Rick Hastings who has served this district well. I will continue to be open and accessible if District 12 voters honor me with the opportunity to serve as Alderman.

I share the values of District 12, family values, conservative values. I feel my ability to listen, work with others, build relationships and make common-sense decisions make me the best representative of District 12 for the Common Council. I encourage you to contact me with any questions and I ask for your vote next Tuesday.
