Quidditch League Begins in Waukesha

Just how does one play Harry Potter's Quidditch? You can watch the action at Banting Park on Tuesday.

Quidditch is starting this week in Banting Park on Tuesday with Waukesha children playing the game from the popular Harry Potter series from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Waukesha Parks, Recreation and Forestry had to cancel the first class in June because of low signups, but is offering two additional classes – one from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and one from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Aug. 5 through Aug. 8.

If your children are interested in playing the game on brooms, then you can see the action at the park. Contact the Waukesha Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department at 262-524-3737 for more information.
