"State Fair", a Broadway musical based on the classic Academy Award-winning 1945 film, is a musical which chronicles a farm family's visit to the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines in the 1940s. The mother and father have their sights on winning ribbons, while their son and daughter set out to find love at the midway. This musical has two high school casts and three children's casts which alternate between performance dates. Children are from area schools.In additionn to the evening performances, matinee performances will take place on February 12, 19. and 26 at 2:00 p.m.
