Waukesha County recycling staff will be out in full-force during this year’s Waukesha JanBoree giving away free blue bins along with appearances by Recycle Raccoon at various locations and providing recycling themed activities.
Saturday, Jan. 19 – Pancake Breakfast, Schuetze Recreation Center, 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Saturday, Jan. 19 – Wiggle with Worms Program, Retzer Nature Center, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Saturday, Jan. 19 – Skate with Recycle Raccoon, Eble Ice Arena 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 20 – Recycling Games and Activities at Retzer Nature Center, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 20 – Skate with Recycle Raccoon, Naga-Waukee Ice Arena 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Additional Retzer Nature Center events on Sunday the 20th also include snowshoeing, planetarium shows, and nature crafts for kids. All events are free and open to the public. Visit janboree.org or waukeshacounty.gov/recycling for more information.
