Want to get your puppy off to a great start? The first few months of a puppy’s life are crucial for establishing good socialization habits that will last a lifetime. HAWS is proud to announce our new Puppy Parties to help your puppy develop crucial interactive skills that will help him or her stay socialized into adulthood. Interactive play is also a great way for your puppy to burn off excess energy, leading to a more focused dog during training. Puppy Parties are for all dogs 8-20 weeks of age. For smaller breeds, or those puppies that are a bit shyer, a separate play space will be provided. All dogs must be up-to-date on their Bordetella vaccination and in the process of receiving their Rabies and Distemper vaccinations. If your dog is not already enrolled in one of our other classes please bring a current copy of his or her vaccination record. Please call for more information!

More About Humane Animal Welfare Society
Established in 1965, Humane Animal Welfare Society is a non-profit organization which assists more than 6,000 animals each year and welcomes more than 31,000 human visitors annually. A member of the Wisconsin Federated Humane Societies group, HAWS provides spay-neuter services through its SNIP clinic, behavior consulting, training and resources to prevent animal abuse and neglect.
Aside from being a full service shelter that takes all animals in, its Humane Education Department additionally offers a wide variety of programs, including kids camps, school programs and animal care seminars.
