Visit the museum during holiday vacation break for a party like never before! Stop in on any of the three days between 10:am and 3 pm to visit activity stations set up throughout the museum with experiments, games, crafts and more to celebrate holidays and traditions that occur throughout the year. Make a Mardi Gras conga line, create a New Year's Eve hat, go on the Easter egg hunt, celebrate opening day at the baseball field, and much more! The activities are free with museum admission.

Come explore the history of Waukesha County with a visit to the Waukesha County Historical Society & Museum. You'll find ongoing special exhibits, events and programs for all ages of interest.
The Research Center at the museum specializes in local family history with archives of birth, death, wedding and land records, plus many more similar type documents.
The volunteer staff are ready to greet you with directions and information when you enter the museum or when you stop by the gift shop. The gift shop has unique books, cards, games, statues, toys and candy for sale. It's always fun to go home with a souvenir of your adventure.
The museum also has an education department that offers guided tours, discovery boxes and an outreach program. Inquire about that for your group or students.
