DESCRIPTION:Cool jazz on hot summer nights .... enjoy the live music!  We
 dnesdays\, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Les Paul Bandshell at Cutler Park\nJune 20 -
  The Milwaukee Connection\, featuring the winner of our       2012 Chuck
  Hedges Memorial Scholarship\, Jacob Richter.&nbsp\; The       Milwaukee
  Connection is Chuck Hedges' old band\, some of the best       veterans 
 in the local music scene.&nbsp\; They play a lot of swing and       stan
 dards.&nbsp\; Chuck was a nationally-known clarinetist who lived in     
   Waukesha\, played at Cutler Park\, but passed away about two years    
    ago.&nbsp\; We award the scholarship in his memory to a local high   
     school student each year\, to attend a summer jazz camp.  June 27 - 
 Ellen Winters and her Quartet.&nbsp\; Ellen's a great       vocalist\, w
 ho's known for her Rosemary Clooney tribute.  July 11 - Dave Petty and I
 mpromptu.&nbsp\; Swing and older jazz       standards\, featuring Dave P
 etty on tenor sax.  July 18 - Choir Fight.&nbsp\; One of Milwaukee's hot
 test jazz acts\,       featuring Jamie Breiwick on trumpet.  July 25 - O
 pus.&nbsp\; One of the best Milwaukee jazz-fusion groups in       the 70
 s and 80s\, they reunited last year.&nbsp\; Featuring Anita Stemper     
   on vocals.  August 1 - Johnny Padilla Quartet.&nbsp\; Johnny plays sax
  and flute\,       and sings\, too.&nbsp\; He does a wide variety of sty
 les\, including Latin.&nbsp\; Johnny's a Cutler Park favorite\, and so i
 s his mother\, who       entertains everyone by dancing all night long.
