ProHealth Care will present a free program on how to manage back pain from 6 – 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, 725 American Ave., Waukesha.
Louis Noto, M.D., specialist in pain management, will discuss treatment options for lower back pain. The program will also include a body mechanics/ergonomics demonstration by a ProHealth Care physical therapist.
Most people will have at least one backache in their life. More than likely, it isn’t one activity that can bring on a backache but many simple things done improperly for a long period of time, such as standing, sitting or lifting. However, there are many things that can be done to decrease potential causes of lower back pain.
