Recording artist and former American Idol finalist Danny Gokey will personally unveil his new national designer eyewear collection and perform on Monday, June 11, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Wisconsin Vision’s Pewaukee location at 2005 Silvernail Road.

Wisconsin Vision has been working with Gokey and New York-based Match Eyewear to launch the new Danny Gokey Eyewear Collection which was recently introduced at International Vision Expo East, the industry’s pre-eminent fashion and medical eyecare event.

The eyewear line rollout comes at an exciting time for Gokey personally and professionally.  He got married in January of this year and has started work writing songs for his next album.  Fans can hear a few of those as well as favorites, during his store appearance.

Described as “prescription eyewear with an edge,” the Gokey collection features initial styles for men ages 18 to 35 and include a mix of colors, textures, material mixes, and urban and bohemian details. Wisconsin Vision (www.wisconsinvision.com), the state’s largest independently-owned optical company, is the first Midwest chain to carry the new collection.

Wisconsin Vision advises those planning to attend Monday’s Gokey eyewear launch event and brief performance to start arriving at 3 p.m.  Parking is available on streets adjacent to the store location.
