Clicker training is a highly effective, positive and fun way to teach your dog! Skills can be learned quickly while the bond between you is strengthened… and understanding this method can improve all your other training skills as well! These are the same methods the pros use to teach killer whales, dolphins and animal movie stars. In this class you will learn clicker basics and help your dog realize it's super star potential by teaching him or her some cool, new tricks like, spin, kiss, ring a bell, say your prayers and more. Prerequisite: Completion of Basic Manners 1, or another manners or obedience class (not a puppy class). No dogs at the first class, please.
Pre-requisite: Basic Manners 1 or equivalent
This class is for dogs ages 1 and older.
Classes are $79 for HAWS Alumni!

More About Humane Animal Welfare Society
Established in 1965, Humane Animal Welfare Society is a non-profit organization which assists more than 6,000 animals each year and welcomes more than 31,000 human visitors annually. A member of the Wisconsin Federated Humane Societies group, HAWS provides spay-neuter services through its SNIP clinic, behavior consulting, training and resources to prevent animal abuse and neglect.
Aside from being a full service shelter that takes all animals in, its Humane Education Department additionally offers a wide variety of programs, including kids camps, school programs and animal care seminars.
