Ash Wednesday is the start of Lenten preparations for the Christian tradition. The event of Christ’s death and resurrection is the indisputable pivot of our faith. Entering a season of personal reflection and sacrifice brings us back to these essentials, and a heart of worship.
Lakepoint Church will be hosting a self-guided, family friendly Ash Wednesday experience for Muskego and surrounding residents. All are welcome.
Several interactive stations will immerse participants in the atmosphere of what led Jesus to his crucifixion, the glory that comes from Easter, and what that means for us.
It will be held in the Old Town Hall building at the Muskego Settlement Center on February 13th, from 5:30pm until 7:00pm. Please allow approximately twenty minutes for this “open house” event sponsored by Lakepoint Church of Muskego.

More About Old Settlement Centre
Muskego history is represented at Old Settlement Centre, which features five structures relocated from the area. The Muskego Historical Society operates the site and gives tours during the annual Muskego Community Festival.
