More About Waukesha Civic Theatre
Currently under Managing Artistic Director John Cramer, the WCT is Waukesha's first choice for quality, live entertainment since 1957. This is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide quality live theatre performances and educational programs that will enrich, challenge and entertain both participants and audience members. The theatre not only puts on a regular rotation of entertainment for the community, but is also instrumental in the development of the performing arts within the community itself by offering theatre programs to youth and adults. Young people throughout the Waukesha community flex their creative muscles and have a heightened sense of cultural literacy through involvement in a variety of theatrical experiences lead by Doug Jarecki, the WCT Educationa and Outreach Administrator. There are opportunities for adults and the whole family to test their adventure in performing.
