All of our instructors are volunteering their time and talents for this event so that 100% of the proceeds may benefit the J.J. Watt Foundation www.jjwfoundation.org. "The Hurricanes, like the J.J. Watt Foundation, believe in the importance of teaching young athletes the importance of perseverance, respect and pride" said Hurricanes President Jeff Fifield. The goal of the Hurricanes is not only to develop quality baseball players, but good community citizens, one player at a time. The J.J. Watt Foundation, created by Pewaukee, Wisconsin native J.J. Watt was created to provide after school opportunities for children to become involved in athletics so they may learn basic character traits in a safe, supervised environment with their peers. J.J. Watt is a defensive end for the Houston Texans and was named Defensive Player of the Year for the 2012 season. The Clinic is open to children ages 8 – 14 and costs $30.
