Olive Promotions, a local promotional and apparel firm in Brookfield, WI, donated 100 folding camp chairs to the American Red Cross in Southeastern Wisconsin on December 6. The chairs have been screen printed with the Red Cross logo and will be used by first responders as they tend to those in need.
Olive Promotions owner, Bart Bohne says, “We have tremendous respect for everything that The Red Cross does for our community. The first responders are among the most dedicated people I know. We will continue to look at every opportunity to support this organization.”
Patty Flowers, Regional Chief Executive Officer says of the donation “We are so very grateful for the wonderful contribution made by Olive Promotions to the American Red Cross in Southeastern Wisconsin. When our clients go through the horrific experience of a house fire they are so very often left with nothing but their own two feet to stand on. A chair can mean the world as they sit down with our Disaster Response volunteers to talk about their next steps toward recovery. I cannot express my sincere gratitude enough and am amazed by Olive Promotions’ wonderful giving spirit this holiday season.”
Each Red Cross truck that responds to local fires will be equipped with four of the chairs. The chairs will also be distributed to Red Cross workers.
