It's Time to Shake Up Washington, D.C!

Last night we kicked off our final GOTV push toward the primary!

Country music super star Rodney Atkins put on an incredible performance. If you need a little inspiration today, take a few minutes and listen to his song “America.”

For me, the best part of the night was right after the concert.  So many folks waited to visit with me, asked great questions and pledged their support on August 14.

We are only 12 days away from Election Day right now, and even as we continue to surge, every single vote counts. We can’t do this without your support.

So I’m going to ask of you the same thing that I asked of the 500 people that joined us last night: go out and talk to your friends, tell them why you’re supporting Team Hovde, and ask them to go to the polls in 12 days so that we can shake up Washington!

How about you tell us why we should?

He would not be the first or the last politician to "buy" their own election.

Shake it up!!! Washington is a pathetically mismanaged mess with a CEO (Obama) that is not up to the task to lead and remains content to play the role of campaigner/divider in chief.

PS: for the record, I don't think you (or anyone for that matter) stand a snowball's chance in hell to change anything in Washington with Obama in the Whitehouse and that disgraceful and offensive Reid leading the Senate. Please prove me wrong and Godspeed in your important work.
