Your Chance to Ask Candidates About Key Issues Facing Waukesha
The Waukesha Common Council will tackle some key issues in 2013, and Patch is asking our readers to pose some questions for the candidates who are running for alderman this spring.
Don't look now, but there's another election just around the corner.
Three candidates are running for the 1st District aldermanic seat in the Feb. 19 primary election, while five are vying for the 11th District spot on the Waukesha Common Council. The top two vote-getters in each primary will advance to the April 2 general election.
Waukesha Patch will be there every step of the way as we cover both races, but this time around, we are going to have our readers get more involved in our coverage of the campaign. And we're starting by asking you to help us formulate questions for the candidates.
Patch will soon contact the candidates to get biographical information as well as their views on the issues facing the city. But we don't want to be the only ones posing the questions; we want to hear what's on your mind as well.
We're also soliciting questions for the candidates running in the Republican primary in the 98th Assembly District, which encompasses part of Waukesha.
If you have a question you would like to ask one or all of the candidates, post it in the comments section below or on our Facebook page. We'll do our best to include your question as part of our coverage of this key race.
