A 31-year-old West Allis man is facing felony charges for stealing more than $14,000 while employed at a Waukesha business, according to a criminal complaint.
Matthew G. Ollie was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court on Monday with one count of theft of more than $10,000 from a business setting. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison and $25,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint:
Ollie stole $14,100 while working as a service manager at Ziebart between Sept. 1 and Dec. 8. The owner discovered the theft, fired Ollie and reported the missing money the next day.
Ollie was interviewed by police on Jan. 4, where he admitted to the theft, saying he took the money to support his $100 to $300 per day heroin habit.
He will make his initial appearance in court June 18.
