Waukesha Unpaid Taxes Top $18 Million

The state database of delinquent taxpayers includes 292 residents and businesses from Waukesha, who owe a combined total of just over $18 million. Search our database of people from Waukesha County who owe state taxes.

 

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue publishes an online list of people who owe more than $5,000 in state taxes. The list was last updated Jan. 3.

Waukesha County residents and businesses based here owe a collective $61.4 million in unpaid taxes, including income, withholding and sales tax. Waukesha residents and businesses owe $18 million of that.

So what punishment is there for these people? Obviously none because I know several on the list and they are walking around spending money like they have it. Oh Wait, they do, because they don't pay their taxes and there is no penalty to them.
