Waukesha Police: Car Hit House During Accident Sunday
Waukesha Police Department calls from Sunday and early Monday morning.
A driver hit a person’s house in the 1200 block of Sweetbriar Drive and fled on foot from the scene at 8:08 p.m. Sunday. Police observed blood in the car and are investigating the accident.
In other Waukesha Police Department calls:
• A two-car accident with injuries was reported at 9:47 a.m. Sunday at North West Barstow Street and East St. Paul Avenue.
• It was reported at 10:18 a.m. Sunday that a man was sitting in the driver’s seat of a van in the 400 block of West Sunset Drive drinking a can of beer. The van was gone before police arrived.
• Three people were advised after it was reported at 12:16 p.m. Sunday they were sleeping in a bathroom at Frame Park, 1200 White Rock Ave.
• A person was cited for driving without a license during a traffic stop at 5:02 p.m. Sunday at Hoover and South West avenues.
• Police were called at 12:19 a.m. Monday to the 900 block of Fleetfoot Drive after it was reported an intoxicated woman did not have money to pay the fare. The woman’s mother responded and paid the taxi driver.
• Waukesha police responded at 2:35 a.m. Monday to the 2400 block of West Sunset Drive because an argumentative, intoxicated man was reported to be sitting in his car. A bar had offered to pay for the man’s cab and the man took the cab home while police followed
